Shabina Khan has been a part of this industry since 1994. She started at the young age of 13 years as an assistant choreographer to Ganesh Hegde for the film Khamoshi. Her stunning dance style, perfection left no stones unturned to impress her masters and other personalities of Bollywood.

Since then she never took it slow, assisting some genius choreographers like Saroj Khan, Ganesh Acharya, Prabhudeva, she finally got her first break as an independent choreographer in the film “Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon”, there were questions raised as Shabina was known for her western moves, aerobic dance style however Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon was a film based on a girl prevailing from a small village hence the film demanded hard-core Bollywood style of dance.

At that stage of Bollywood only Saroj Khan had mastered that skill. But Shabina Khan impressed the entire industry by proving her versatility in the way she choreographed the numbers. Following this film, she mastered each form of dance choreography by proving it at every level in films like Naach, Darna Mana Hai, etc. After mastering every level of choreographing, she finally went on to become a director of choreography for the biggest film song of 2015 “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”.

Shabina got immense love and response from all over the world for this film as it had some beautifully choreographed numbers like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Jalte Diye, etc. This film didn’t only demand choreography but also a lot of technicalities were kept in mind while filming these super hit tracks.

Shabina is extremely handy with camera angles as well and she’s known for her unique style of choreographing and filming the song by getting into the shoes of the Director, which brings to her next project Kabir Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ starring Salman Khan.

Versatility and technique is her prime weapon. Every time you see her moves, you will feel it’s new. And now with the next step in ever evolving process, she has formed her film production company called Shabina Khan Production Pvt. Ltd. It comprises of well talented pool of people whose vision and drive exceeds expectation. Three very interesting film projects with unconventional story are already in the pipelines.
